Management is about knowing what to do, how to do it
efficiently and ensuring it gets done on time and to the customer's satisfaction
at the optimal cost to the business and the customer. Effective management is
the cornerstone upon which the leaders can take the business to the next level.
Leadership
Leadership is a combination of knowing where you want
to go and communicating to others so that they want to get there with you and
understand how to go about it.
Leadership is not the sole province of "the Boss". It can come from all levels of the organisation, at different times and by different means. It is not always about the future. It may be about doing the things that are not getting done, or, doing them better now, so that higher standards become automatic.
